Every year, they organise a relation event for stakeholders from home and abroad. The event is not only for strengthening ties, but also to encourage more data exchange among themselves in order to offer even smarter machines and services. During the 2019 edition, the audience was treated to 90 minutes of infotainment: the journey of the potato!<\/p>\n<h4>The journey of a product portrayed<\/h4>\n<p>Kiremko's factory hall was converted into a 360-degree theatre the day before the event and contained:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A u-shaped wall, with various sizes of screens, which surrounded the audience<\/li>\n<li>Chairs that could rotate 360 degrees to move towards the screens, on which, separately and per presentation, different images, videos and partners could be seen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"rd-v-p\">This setup then lent itself to a strong presentation on the journey of a potato.<\/p>\n<h4>The chain speaking: 11 different partners<\/h4>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16775\" src=\"https:\/\/robertdaverschot.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Marina-Kemp-rep-Kiremko-Masterclasses.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"rd-v-p\">In potato processing, a separate partner provides services and machinery for almost every production process. For example, potatoes have to be cleaned, peeled, cut, coated, frozen and transported.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rd-v-p\">In chronological order, each partner told in 6 minutes how their company contributed to that process. Often using a machine that was on site . The presentation was supported by video and images on the screen wall. Each speaker presented from a different spot in the 360-degree theatre. They were announced by me as presenter and filmed by a camerman at those moments when speakers were at a further distance, namely next to a machine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rd-v-p\">This industry presentation was conducted on behalf of Kiremko and in collaboration with Perfect Events and Studio21. In 90 minutes, the journey of a potato was presented to the audience in a lively and energetic way: from the land, onto your plate!<\/p>\n<h4>Why the presentation was more than a show<\/h4>\n<p class=\"rd-v-p\">This form of \"chain presentation\" proved to be a great success:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>For the public<\/strong>: they learned more about processes, machines and companies in a light-hearted yet informative way.<\/li>\n<li><strong>For the speakers<\/strong>: they learnt to powerfully convey their story in a short time and could present themselves at one time and place, with other partners, at the same time, in front of an exclusive audience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>For the chain<\/strong>: cooperation in the run-up to the event, was a strong example of team effort and brought partners even closer together again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"rd-v-p\">And perhaps the most important effect: after the presentation, speakers and audience mingled. To get to know each other, engage in further conversation and sometimes to have the machines explained further in concrete terms. During the drinks, everyone talked about the impressive presentation.
