Context
UWV takes care of the national implementation of employee insurance and labour market and data services. At an annual conference, employers and HR professionals can catch up on the latest developments in labour law and how UWV implements this in its services.
Output
Replacing a live annual conference, an online programme was offered with a plenary part and the opportunity to attend sub-sessions on specific topics. During both parts, I interacted with the UWV management team, as well as with experts and subdistrict court judges on, in particular, dismissal and work permits, and the rights and obligations of employees and employers around working from home. The knowledge-intensive programme was occasionally interrupted by music from a live band and videos of colleagues around the country.
