Context

During the annual meeting of the National GP Association, hundreds of GPs from across the country meet. During this meeting, consisting of a plenary part and a programme of workshops, GPs are updated on current affairs and inspired about new practices, services and treatments.

In cooperation with concept developer Random and about four lawyers from the LHV, we developed an event format around the theme of "privacy" and "medical confidentiality". This theme, sometimes perceived as "abstract", needed to be conveyed in a livelier way during one of the workshops of the LHV event. Instead of presentations, a short content kick-off took place and I subsequently guided "Over the Line". For this, a case was briefly presented by an LHV lawyer each time, after which GPs could indicate "what they would do" by standing in a certain box in the room's space. Partly due to the, sometimes unexpected, movement of each person, I managed to spark fascinating conversations and the lawyers were able to provide clarification and advice to the participants on the spot. This physical session was followed by an online session in which the same topic was discussed via a livestream.
