Context
MPI is an international platform for event professionals. MPI Netherlands serves the Dutch event professional. Throughout the year, they host various networking and expert sessions for them. In December each year is a closing event - during Corona in 2020, this was transformed into an online production.
Output
During the MPI Oline Event, I interacted with several event professionals. Among others, with Sietse Bakker, final manager for the Eurovision Song Contest that would be hosted in the Netherlands the following year. I talked to him about the different scenarios and how to switch gears in the uncertain lockdown period. I also talked to several event managers about how they could still stay in business in times of crisis. Throughout the programme, the online audience could send in live reactions, which I could present to the various guests.
